“My work is about: patterns, round things, pops of bright color, a sense of abundance. A feeling of lightness or elevation. Things that are lush, that are multi-textured, that have a sense of multicolor or multiplicity. I create things to battle shame with the intention of spreading joy in order to better face the challenges, darkness and the injustices of the world around us.“
Molly Gambardella is an emerging artist who works in 2D and 3D media. She graduated from Paier College of Art with a BFA in illustration in 2017. Molly continues to receive commissions and show work internationally. Molly’s piece “Elegant Sunburst” was shown at SCOPE Miami Beach, 2019 and sold. This August she will attend The Wild Residency at Theano Point, Canada. Upcoming shows include “Art Is Love” at bG Gallery in Santa Monica and Architectural Digest Design Show 2020. Molly’s work has been featured in The Jealous Curator blog, Creative Quarterly Journal, Business Insider Art, among others. Molly currently works from her studio at West River Arts in New Haven, Connecticut.
