Artist Statement

I am an emerging and contemporary Korean-Canadian artist. With endless painterly shapes and colours, my art is meant to spark feelings of magic, warmth, and nostalgia. My artworks are expressive through the application of thin repeated layers of acrylics brushed on canvas or paper as well as through the use of some mixed media. I am inspired by places, things, events in my current home of Ontario, my upbringing in Quebec, and from my travels worldwide.
