An architect by training, Chiara is a self-taught printmaker and emerging artist who has been active since early 2022 and has so far exhibited in Bristol as part of group exhibitions around the theme of Nature, pollinators and summer rituals. Her work is unified by her love for the natural world and interest in the detailed observation of her surroundings, from animals and plants to inanimate objects and patterns.

Chiara believes that, in today’s fast-paced world, we tend to miss out on so much of what goes on around us as we hurl at high-speed through our day. She sees art and the act of creating as an invite and opportunity—respectively—to slow down and take in our surroundings, in particular the beauty of nature.

Overall, her goal as an artist is to share her love of nature and encourage others to see the beauty in the world around them.

Chiara creates original linocut art prints made with care in small batches and hand-printed for a unique touch. She works from her small-but-mighty home studio, a cosy 2.5m x2.5m converted pantry room in a charming Victorian terraced house that she shares with her husband and two rescue pets.
