I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BFA in Painting in 2013. I studied abroad in and around Ascoli Piceno, Marche, Italy, where I discovered my love for beautiful landscapes and great food. I earned my Ed.M from Boston University and currently work in education. I believe in using creative thinking to improve the world around me.
I’m really passionate about art, travel, and amazing food. I’m not sure if my love of painting simple, fresh, and often vibrant subject matter came before or after developing a love of cooking.
My work is inspired by the simple things in life... fresh ingredients, a beautiful scene, or a color that I just can’t get over. I need constant reminders to stop and smell the roses. Painting helps me remember this, and I hope my work helps you remember too.
I’m a New Englander through and through. My love for the quaint New England town and charming winter scene is endless. I also have a strong interest in history, heritage, and all things vintage. I am drawn to timeless subject matter— an apple today is as recognizable and beautiful as it was in 1750.
When I’m not cooking or painting, I’m spending time with my family, watching period dramas with my husband, traveling, or trying to grow plants.
