Amy Chaiklin received her BFA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and is an alumni of New York Studio School, Paris, France program. Born in New Jersey, Chaiklin has lived in Berlin, Germany, and currently lives and works in New York, NY.

Chaiklin is a figurative painter that has exhibited internationally, curated group exhibitions, given slide lectures of her work, painted street art murals in the USA, and Europe participated on artist panel discussions, and written articles published in art magazines.

She is a recipient of a New York State Council on the Arts Grant, and Artist Residencies at Cite Internationale des Arts Paris, Makor, NY, Stiftung Starke Berlin, and Women’s Studio Workshop, NY.

Chaiklin’s work has been featured in group and solo exhibitions in the United States and Europe including; Corcoran Gallery Washington DC, Club 57 NY, Fashion Moda Bronx NY, Galerie Im Saalbau Neükoln Berlin, Harvard University Josep Lluis Sert Gallery, Kunst Werke Berlin, Marble Palace St. Petersburg Russia, NYU Grey Art Gallery NY, The Bronx Museum of the Arts Bronx NY, and The Metropolitan Museum Thomas J. Watson Library NY.

Her artwork is published in BERLIN, ISCA Quarterly, The Museum of Modern Art Club 57 Exhibition Catalogue, and The Studio Museum in Harlem Magazine Coloring Page.
