Experienced Art Director, Designer, Illustrator Mary Thelen is an artist with over 20 years' experience designing and illustrating all manner of printed products. She has created approximately 50 calendars, 600 giftwraps, 1,000 greeting cards, contributed cover and inside illustrations for dozens of elementary and middle school textbooks and workbooks and illustrated over twenty educational and trade books. Mary also has substantial experience creating print ad campaigns, billboards, POP, identity systems and editorial illustration for a variety of agencies and corporations. Developing new gift packaging concepts and a themed gift card packaging program for Macy's are among her favorite assignments.She is currently working on product ideas she plans to license, for home decor, toys, skateboards and T-shirts. Typically,she generates 300-350 individual designs each year, and would love to generate some for you. Her designs have sold greeting cards, gift packaging, books, cosmetics,home decor products - in other words: communication, knowledge,comfort, beauty, inspiration, lifestyle, friendship and love. She is confidently up to the challenge of using her design skills to promote great food, cool products, delightful ambiance, essentials services, exciting activities and inspired and inspiring ideas for you and your clients.
